Giuseppe Nalin

BIOGRAPHY

Giuseppe Nalin has dedicated himself to the study of the baroque oboe for about thirty years.
 

He is director and founder of the Sans Souci Ensemble.

With this group he has recorded sixteen CDs featuring music of 18th century composers, such as Vivaldi, Bach, Fasch, Telemann, Besozzi, Califano, Boccherini, Baron, Mancini, Torri, Caldara, Lotti, Steffani, Platti, Montanari, Brescianello, Sarro, Lignani, Aldrovandini and Cambini, for various vocal/instrumental formations. Most of these recordings are world premieres based on unpublished scores.
 

Giuseppe Nalin is also an appreciated and engaging lecturer on the art of castratos and the early history and development of the oboe.
